The exterior design of a new generation Ankai N8 Coach was created using the idea of ‘double M design’ - to minimize the external and maximize the internal space to deliver a high-end riding experience in a compact coach destined for urban and mountain roads. Developed for the fourth generation of Ankai lightweight monocoque body structure the new exterior design provides better aerodynamics than previous generations.

Dubiel Design Ltd fully developed the exterior design project in close collaboration with Ankai Automobile and Jimin He Vermittlung & Beratung. It is characterised by modern and dynamic shapes combined with elegant lines inspired by traditional Chinese cultural motives.

The N8 coach exterior styling sets the new standard for Ankai exterior design language for the new family of buses.
